This website is to welcome and help those who would like to find copies of my books, (either on running or literature), read samples of my writing, get biographical notes about me, or check my speaking schedule.

Compiling a website for the first time feels a bit like writing your own obituary. But people who tried to Google my name have landed on a West Indian poet, an NFL footballer and a television actor. It’s time to say that none of those is me.

I’m now primarily a writer, part-time university teacher, and speaker, often as a “dynamic duo” with my wife, Kathrine Switzer, of Marathon Woman fame.
